REGISTRATION & IDENTIFICATION: At the time of registration, we collect information about you to verify who you are before you can bid. We collect credit card information to ensure that you are a qualified buyer. All bidders must be of legal age to bid. BUYER PREMIUM: We charge a 12% buyers premium on all online auctions. This is to ensure we can have future Auctons. PAYING FOR YOUR PURCHASES: There is no cost to register for an auction (Up to $1 may be charged to validate your card by Auctionflex when you register). Your credit card will not be charged unless you win. When an auction closes, if you are the winner, you must contact us within 24 hours to arrange a different form of payment. Otherwise, the card that you used to register will be charged the full amount due. If you do not pick up during the alotted time, you will be charged storage fees as stated in the terms of auction. If your purchases exceed your credit card limit, your card will be charged a deposit up to its maximum with the balance due in 24 hours from auction close either in person at our facility or by wire transfer. REVIEWING YOUR BIDS: During an auction you can check the status of your bids at anytime. Note that no bids can be withdrawn after the auction for any reason. All items are sold as is, where is, with all faults with no guarantees that any item is fit for a particular use. We strongly recommend attending the previews if available on any and all auctions. All bids are legally binding and enforceable in the USA WINNING NOTIFICATION & INVOICING: All winning bidders will receive an e-mail invoice within 24 hours of the auction closing. PICKUPS & REMOVALS: Items will be picked up ONLY on TUESDAY 10am-6pm. Do not bid if you are unable to pick up your items during these times! Any item not picked up during the posted pickup times will be considered an abandoned item. Items are sold as is, where is, with all faults. If you abandon an item, your credit card will be charged for the full purchase price of the item plus the cost to remove, transport and dispose the item. Prices referenced are MSRP (Manufacturers Suggested Retail prices) and can be discounted significantly on the open market so do your own due diligence in researching values. Jewelry Appraisals are provided to us by the consignors and when provided are always insurance value appraisals which are usually much higher than retail values. ADDITIONS & DELETIONS: We reserve the right to remove and/or add lots and/or items to the sale at any point during the auction. AUCTION RECORDS: In the unlikely event of a dispute, you agree to accept as true the information that we have in our records. SOFT CLOSE: Items close at regular intervals. To prevent a bidder from 'sniping', all bids made in the last minute of the auction will force an item to stay open for an additional 2 minutes. This will continue until all bidding has ceased. STRATEGY: Bidding is similar to Ebay type auctions, we recommend that ALL BIDDERS put in their maximum bid when placing a bid online. This does not mean you will have to pay the amount you bid; you only pay one bid more than the next highest bid, and only up to your maximum bid. The software system will play out the bids as you would at a live auction and only uses the funds required to beat out the under-bidder at the prescribed bid increment. CATALOGUE ERRORS & OMISSIONS: If a description does not match a picture in a lot, the description takes precedence. All items are sold on an 'as is, where is' basis, with all faults. In the event an item was listed in error or an item can't be located during pick up for any reason, the bidder agrees that their maximum recourse is a full refund of the item in question and that all other items bid on remain binding. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY You expressly understand and agree that Schoolhouse Auctions and it's Consignors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data or other intangible losses resulting from: (i) the use or the inability to use the service; (ii) the cost of procurement of substitute goods and services resulting from any goods, data, information or services purchased or obtained or messages received or transactions entered into through or from the service; (iii) unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data; (iv) statements or conduct of any third party on the service; or (v) any other matter relating to the service. Outstanding Coin & Currency Absolute Fantastic February Auction What a great way to kick off 2025, this auction is a real doozy, chock full of outstanding US type coins that will upgrade almost any collection. Need those key dates for you Wheat Cent collection how about a 1922 No D Strong Reverse in AU53, a 1955/55 in AU55 or a 1909 S VDB in AU58, all CAC stickered. Lots of beautiful high grade key date Buffalo Nickels including that elusive 1918/17-D.
